Redesign Rules

Management System


MAXEX developed a document, called a Guideline (GL), that defines which types of loans are allowed on the exchange. This document is distributed to investors that purchase or sell loans on the exchange.


Internally, the contents of the document are coded into “rules” in the MAXEX portal to reflect whether or not a loan is eligible for the exchange. Since the document and rules can change periodically, the users need an efficient way to manage the changes.


The existing rules management system is not scalable and needs to be redesign to support growth in the company.

There were 2 iterations to determine how the rules would be organized for the rules management component. The number of design iterations varied for the rest of the solutions. Below are a few of the wire frames that led to the final solutions described in the next section.
